Some people love on you with food. Their affection is demonstrated by sharing culinary delights. When we first arrived here, a lady named Sandy drove from the other side of town to bring us homemade American style chilli. Yum! At that time, I couldn't even find the ingredients for chilli, and I definitely didn't know how to make it from scratch! I never forgot that. Her chilli meant more to me than a full tummy. She gave us a food hug.

Never thought I would marry a biker dude. Ha! He loves his motorcycle, but I think monsoon rains make us all hope a vehicle is somewhere in our future.

From the moment MoMo left our gate, Chief was not himself. He had actually been outside the gate once last week and knew the dangers. Though he did not ride on the motorcycle, he did have to get inside a vehicle with four wheels... a taxi. He was taken to a terrible place where mean men touched his hurt leg. He was happy to get home that day! Unfortunately when he got home, he had to stay inside his cage.

I have to say, this would not make me smile like it did him...

Today was MoMo’s day for an adventure. Her adventure started bright and early this morning. It began with… NO FOOD OR WATER! She was confused when we came out the door empty handed. She knows very well that first thing every morning, Michaela brings yummy bite bites out the door. I saw the look in her eyes. She was excited to see us, but clearly thought we had all gone senile.
